Nantes, France is where Michel Willaume hails from. He has studied with a number of the world’s pastry luminaries and holds a Master of French pastry, having studied in the classical European tradition.

In 1999, he was named Pastry Chef of the Year, New York. Competing in Lyon, France, he won the prestigious Pastry World Cup, 2001.

He worked at a number of distinguished positions over the world, including as the pastry chef at Hotel Matignon, Paris, at Hotel Arts Barcelona, at The Ritz Carlton San Francisco and many others before establishing himself as the Pastry consultant, creating Mconsulting in Barcelona.

Since a few months, Michel became Executive Pastry Chef at Dobla, where he uses his knowledge and skills for developing new creations, giving demonstrations and attending international fairs.
